Oh, but it hurts so good.
I started going swimming at the Y this week. We’ve been three times so far. Its a lot of fun, but mostly I’m hoping that the low-impact exercise will be the thing that finally helps my hands get better.
My sketchbook drawing habits consist mainly of first drawing random circles and curves, and then deciding what they turn into. Usually I end up with
Cressyk, the half-orc Monk of the Empty Hand. Anything he picks up is a weapon.
Yes even that butterfly.
I carefully painted some small Xmas presents.
Do not judge my rusty painting skills, those of you who might be competent watercolorists.
I have some unfinished in-progress… progress drawings? Of Tally from awhile ago. The first one is pre-adventure, and the third is when she first multi-classed into Cavalier.
Currently Tally spends a lot of time trying to be tough, failing, and having things work out anyway.
D&D state icons for an old maptool campaign. I have a bunch more but they aren’t neatly arranged like this.

You guys may have noticed that I haven’t been posting… I was working on a project that ate up all my time, and now I’m actually resting, to try and let my hands get better. The RSI has been pretty bad, but now I’m going to physio and sitting around watching lots of TV. I’ve probably watched more TV in the last couple months than I have in the previous five years. Ha ha.
I’m slowly making progress though, and thinking maybe I’m okay enough to sometimes post some older things that you guys might not have seen before, even if I can’t draw anything new right now. I’m itching to, though, so hopefully soon. Apparently it can take 8-12 months to really get better.
Thanks for not giving up on following me!
